The primary goal of the website is to provide information about Amtgard to the Nevada area. Nevada is one of Amtgard’s “new territories” - as the first known introduction was in 1999 at Reno.

The focus of the information is geared to enlighten those who may not have heard of the live-action aspects of role-playing games and convince them to join or start an Amtgard group within their area.

The website will also serve as a promotional tool for Amtgard by providing images, answers to commonly asked questions, and an endless amount of useful information.

Other aspects of the website will help the new Amtgarder, whether he/she is joining an existing group or creating a new chapter.

Amtgarders can also become better members by learning new skills and methods in combat and craft, such as making their own weapons, garb, and equipment).

Hopefully, the website will be the primary information source for all Amtgard members.
